Flat Lapping
Hydrostatic Service have three Flat lapping machines. Our lapping machines are maintained to the highest standard exceeding OEM requirements.
When we measure and maintain flatness, we work in “light bands” and “Microns”. What this means for you is, when we overhaul or re-manufacture your hydraulic piston pump, it will be as efficient and perform as well as it was intended by the manufacturer.
Spherical Match Lapping
Hydrostatic Services have invested significant resources perfecting and building a purpose-built match lapping machine, resulting in exceptional performance of hydrostatic pumps and motors that incorporate spherical rotating components.
Cleaning
Hydrostatic Services has invested heavily in state-of-the-art paint stripping and cleaning equipment, allowing us to prepare all the components to as clean as new prior to re-assembly. This minimises any chance of introducing any contamination into the unit on re-assembly, ensuring you receive the highest possible quality overhaul.
Our workshop is continuously cleaned to prevent airborne contamination entering the units we are overhauling or repairing.
Testing and Calibrating
Hydrostatic Services has spent years developing and building a state-of-the-art test rig that has been labelled by industry experts as the “Best in the Southern Hemisphere”.
With a Torque capacity of up to 1200 Nm, a drive speed of up to 2600 RPM and drive power of up to 230 Kw, a test dynamic test pressure of up to 350 Bar and a static pressure capability of 500 Bar, we can comfortably test and calibrate even the largest of units.
All transducers and regularly checked for calibration, ensuring your unit is set to the correct pressures and the test records are accurate.
With automated features, unparalleled oil filtration, massive cooling capacity, start of the art data acquisition and display, your unit will come off the test rig in perfect condition and precisely calibrated.
General Tools and Equipment
Hydrostatic Services workshop is fully equipped with specialised tooling enabling our Technicians to complete complex processes efficiently and to a high standard. We have multiple custom-designed benches with holding fixtures to specifically designed to hold the units we are repairing.
We have a Lathe and milling machine, both with digital readouts, enabling our highly skilled Technicians to fabricate specialised tooling or to make or modify parts that are not available.
We use torque wrenches for all assembly, and all our torque tools are regularly calibrated, ensuring your unit is built to factory standard.
Our workshop is serviced by a 3.5 Tonne overhead gantry crane plus two jib cranes, making handling of the units we are servicing a breeze.
